Please let us know about your food restrictions (vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free/allergies) when booking the tour, so we can prepare accordingly. Our ever-changing menu of great street food changes every period of time. We try and make our tours as enjoyable for our guides as it is for our visitors so that everyone can enjoy the experience of sharing a great meal together. For repeated customers, we would love to setup a new route for you to try!

The stops on the tour are fully tested for their food safety. The restaurants and eateries on tour are also certified with food-safety certification. In addition to that, the food on the tour is cooked fresh within the day instead of being kept for several days.

For your safety, and as a precaution against thieves, please do not bring valuable things like jewelry or important documents like your passports on the tours. As Saigon is usually hot, you should wear comfortable clothes and shoes; and ladies should not wear skirts or dresses on the tour.

People are always amazed at how comfortable and safe they feel after the initial first two minutes on the motorbike. Once you get into it you understand that there is a flow and that the vehicles aren’t actually going that fast. We do take your safety as our #1 priority so all of our drivers have been tested and trained in safety when it comes to driving our customers through Ho Chi Minh City.

Although riding a motorbike in Vietnam is an enjoyable experience, the traffic patterns in Ho Chi Minh City are quite chaotic and require an experienced and knowledgeable driver. It is also against Vietnamese law to drive without a license and if you get in an accident while driving your insurance will not cover you.

Our team of licensed guides has many years of experienced driving safely in Ho Chi Minh City and we are happy to drive you around the city. This also allows you to pay more attention to the sights and sounds of the city without worrying about millions of other motorbikes on the road.

In case if it rains, we will work it out like this:

  • If the rain happens during the tours, there are always free rain ponchos for you. If the rain is light, we can put them on and continue the tour. In case the rain is too heavy for us to keep going, we shall pull over and discuss if you want to wait until the rain is finished and continue or you want to stop doing the tour and go back to your hotel. In that case, we will charge you for the actual time you have spent on the tour.
  • If the rain happens before the tours and it is light, we will provide you rain ponchos to start the tour and if there is rain with strong wind and thunders, we will contact you and give you the options of the tour cancellation or that you want to make a tour rescheduling at another time. We can delay the tour up to 30 minutes if it rains heavily. As Saigon is in its yearly rainy season from June – November, we hope all the guests that book any motorbike tour during the period, kindly understand that raining can happen anytime and hope that you can openly join us on the tours if the weather is not too bad to go out.

***The tours won’t be canceled if the rain is light or because the streets are wet. And in no cases that the customers are obliged to do the tours if it stormily rains***

To stay on schedule and continue with the informative tour and food tastings in a timely manner, we ask that you please wait to shop until after the tour. You can allow time at the end of the tour to return to your favorite stores located in the map provided. Our guide can also help you with directions to them.

If you have a tour confirmed with us and want to cancel, please notify us at least 24 hours before the tour date to avoid any cancellation fees.

You can also change your booking. Please also notify us at least 24 hours before the tour date via email info@saigonebiketours.vn /hotline (+ 84979 156 268). The new tour date you would like to attend. Please be informed that the booking availability of the new tour will be subject to our availability on that day.
